Our Philosophy & Mission

The Synergetic Education™ Institute exists to transform education through empowering educators and students. Combining the latest educational, mental health, and leadership frameworks, with neuroscience, nervous system regulation, interpersonal neurobiology, and social-emotional practices, the Synergetic Education Institute teaches practical, daily strategies that will transform your pedagogy and your environment. As educators question and practice, the Synergetic Education Institute supports  authentic expression and connection. The Synergetic Education Institute promotes self-reflection, a key ingredient in re-wiring neural networks and re-patterning nervous systems. Examining individual, team, and systemic level functioning, the Synergetic Education Institute allows you to explore transformation internally and externally. This creates the possibility for change and growth for students, educators, and environments.

Offerings at the Synergetic Education Institute range from serving individual educators or schools, to district-wide integrated implementation.

Training can encompass custom comprehensive programming that can be tailored to specific groups or sites, and can include introductory, intermediate, and advanced training.

The Synergetic Education Institute supports the whole learning community. We integrate services by inviting the inclusion of all stakeholders: students, parents, educators, mental health professionals, and school and district leadership.

What We Do

The term educators includes district and site level administrators, school-based mental health professionals, classroom and specials teachers, and support personnel.

  • We teach educators about the neurobiology of behavior.
  • We give educators a new paradigm for understanding stress responses and challenges.
  • We train educators in practical strategies supporting social-emotional learning from a trauma-informed and inclusive perspective.
  • We guide educators in understanding how to teach self-regulation skills and expand windows of tolerance intentionally and explicitly.
  • We support educators in empowering their students by shifting their perceptions to believing they can manage the perceived challenges in their lives.
  • We help educators re-claim their inspiration and love for teaching.
  • We empower educators to authentically connect with themselves and their students.
  • We focus on creating a sense of safety and belonging for all.
  • We provide high quality consulting and professional development services in the areas of multi-tiered system of supports, positive behavior intervention and supports, and school leadership through customized programs tailored to the specific needs of groups or sites.
