ps I also find the ‘set-up’ so useful when meeting with teachers/classroom assistants etc; when there’s a sense of urgency, a need for control, reaching for perfection, a need to know everything, a sense that nothing is good enough, frustration- the list goes on. It’s a process of remembering and forgetting (and then remembering again) this incredibly useful piece of information. It’s often the key piece of information that helps to regulate myself; ‘oh- doesn’t belong to me, it isn’t about me’. So useful when working in schools.
