We are so happy that you’ll be joining us for “Filling the Gaps in Supporting Educators in Scaffolding Self-Regulation in the Classroom.” In this 2-hour class we’ll be discovering how we can bridge the gap between students understanding self-regulation strategies in theory to using them effectively in the moment.

We all know how frustrating it can be when we put in a significant amount of time and effort to address student needs, yet still experience challenging behaviors. Often times, we turn to social-emotional learning programs and teaching methods as a cure. Unfortunately, these tools may be missing critical components, leading to further gaps that hinder students from utilizing strategies independently.

Together, we will help educators understand that with minimal adjustments to daily routines, we can fill these gaps! Our innovative framework emphasizes whole-brain approaches that teach specific skills and foster capacities, enabling students to select and implement strategies that work for them.

By scaffolding the development of these skills, we can equip students with the necessary tools for academic and social success, ultimately guiding them toward taking responsibility for their behaviors.

During this live event:

  • You’ll learn to identify the missing components in many social-emotional learning programs.
  • You’ll learn how to scaffold self-regulation skills in students, helping them apply strategies independently.
  • You’ll discover small shifts educators can make in daily routines to support long-term behavior change.

Together we’ll discover how to support students so they can begin to believe they can manage the challenging experiences in their lives!
