Working with Dysregulation in the Classroom
When we are dysregulated, we will not be able to regulate someone else, instead we will co-dysregulate others. However, when we are able to regulate, we can co-regulate another person and allow others to borrow our regulatory capacity. The key to co-regulating is learning how to regulate ourselves first! The resources on this page focus on supporting adults in regulating themselves first, as a way to promote co-regulation.
