Program Overview
Grounded in neuroscience, educational policy, and legal frameworks, the Behavioral Health Program (BHP) equips teachers, school counselors, paraprofessionals, behavioral specialists, and educational leaders with actionable strategies to navigate their responsibilities within special education systems, and daily classroom challenges.
Applying sustainable behavioral health strategies in the classroom helps strengthens relationships and communication, builds emotional regulation skills, enhances learning, memory, and focus, and supports the overall well-being of both educators and students.

Behavioral Health Program for Colorado Educators
For Colorado educators, this program meets all three Colorado Department of Education behavioral health relicensure requirements. If you’ve already completed one of the requirements, we offer two additional options to meet the remaining requirements. Graduate credit is available through Colorado State University.
Behavioral Health Program for Educators Nationwide
For participants outside Colorado, the program is eligible for professional development or relicensure hours, depending on local requirements.
